On your attacking machine, click the Download Task Files button to download the files. You'll also need to map the hostname gla2.thm to the Lab Machine's IP by adding the following line to /etc/hosts:

MACHINE_IP    gla2.thm

This allows your attacking machine to resolve gla2.thm to the Lab Machine's IP address.

Set up your virtual environment

To successfully complete this room, you'll need to set up your virtual environment. This involves starting the Lab Machine, ensuring you're equipped with the necessary tools and access to tackle the challenges ahead.

The safehouse vault is back, but robbing it isn't a single-player job anymore. Pull the game apart, work out how it talks to the city's back office, and take what the developers insist is locked. The cheat console lies. The vault on your screen lies. The real score is something you have to earn, then prove you earned it.
